Saltvik Mek AS has launched a new and revolutionary snow plow in the V-plows segment. Saltvikplogen® V-type is available in two models, V-290 and V-250. V-type is guaranteed to be the market's best V-plow, and the only one having an ejector wing combined with sprung cutters.

V-type is a multipurpose plow which, with its short extension on the wing, is particularly suitable for narrow spaces as well as larger roads or area cleanup

One year warranty for plow

V-type is built on the F-type chassis. Like the other F-series plows, V-type has a 60° angle to the roadway. V-plows have a vertical Y-shape extension in the middle to be used as a collector / clearing cutter, or as diagonal plow with ejection to the left or right. V-290 has a clearing width of 2.9 meters with a 12-feet cutter. V-290 has 4 independent and flexible cutters, each section being adapted to a 3-feet cutter. The height of the wing is about 173 cm. V-type has a 45o angle in relation to the travel direction in a diagonal blade position. Plow width with the full turn to the right / left is 2.9 meters. The clearing width is 3.77 meters.

V-250 has a clearing width of 2.5 meters with a 10-feet cutter. V-250 has two 3-feet cutters and two 2-feet cutters. The height of the wing is about 173 cm. Plow width with the full turn to the right / left is 2.5m. The clearing width is approximately 3.1 meters.

With the Saltvikplogen® V-type, Saltvik Plogen AS has moved the boundaries within plow production, having designed the ejector wing and sprung cutter to be used at a 60° attack angle. Saltvikplogen® V-type is an ultimate plow on the market.
