FDA-type
FDA-type is a "brother" of F-type, and is a diagonal plow with a short wing. It is very good both for highways in towns and in areas with narrow roads and hills.
The cutter and wing are based on F-type. F-type was so good that our customers wanted a diagonal version of it, and we created FDA-type. We removed the wing on the left side and at the same time made a wide opening of 103 cm that empties the plow easily in case of the left swing. FDA-type has two model dimensions: with cutting length of 3300 mm (11 feet) and 3600 mm (12 feet). FDA-type has very good ejection capability, and ejection starts already at 20 km/h. Like F-type, FDA-type has very good scrape properties and the plow is stable on the road. With the use of FDA-type you are able to reduce the use of grader / lower knife.

F-type is produced according to the Norwegian Public Roads Administration standards. Moreover, we manufactured it especially for working in tough conditions. Saltvik plows have always been known for their solid quality. Therefore you can still find A- and DA-plows produced in the 1970s and 1980s still in use today.
